What SafeCircle Is – and Is Not

SafeCircle is an app and digital safety tool designed to help users activate assistance, share their location, and document incidents through audio and video recordings in potentially unsafe situations.

SafeCircle is not a replacement for emergency services. In case of immediate danger, always call 112.

Information We Process

• Identity information used for login and verification.
• Profile information, profile photo, phone number, and safety settings.
• Location data during an active alarm.
• Audio and video recordings created during an active alarm.
• Emergency contacts, notifications, messages, and technical operational data.

Purpose and Legal Basis

We process personal data to provide SafeCircle’s services and features, including alarms, location sharing, documentation, safety functions, customer support, and subscriptions. The legal basis for processing may include contractual necessity, legitimate interests, user consent where required, and compliance with legal obligations.

Data Retention

Audio and video recordings are automatically deleted after 48 hours unless the user actively chooses to retain them or continued retention is required by law.

Your Rights

You have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, transfer, and object to the processing of your personal data. For privacy-related requests, please contact privacy@safecircle.dk. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Danish Data Protection Agency (Datatilsynet).
